My Makeup: Purple Pop Edition

I spotted this pretty purple look in a recent Avon brochure and had to try it!!! I love this shade of lipstick and have worn it many times this summer. The eye look is quite dramatic (a little too much for grocery shopping, which is where I am headed) but beautiful and easy to apply. I decided to keep the purple/pink monochromatic look going with the rest of my outfit.  

Eyes: mark. By Avon Eye Contact Hook Up Eyeshadow Palette Smoke & Mirrors palette shades 1 and 5. Avon True Color SuperExtend Nourishing Mascara in black.
Cheeks: mark. By Avon Cheek Magnet Hook Up Powder Blush in Flamingo Getter.
Lips: mark. By Avon Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Wrath.

EYES: mark. By Avon Havana Sol Eye Contact in Mojitos by the Seas shade 7 on the lids and shade 8 on the lash line.
CHEEKS: mark. By Avon Havana Sol Blush Bronzer in Sun and Sand.
LIPS: mark. By Avon Havana Sol Lipclick in shade Mambo.

My Makeup: Lucy Hale's Tigerlily Makeup

When I spotted Lucy Hale wearing this orangey, coppery look from mark. By Avon in the Avon brochure, I knew I had to copy it! I've never tried an orange shade of eye shadow before, so this was a new look for me. I usually wear browns and golds and this dark orange shade looks great! 

Here is what I used:
EYES: mark. By Avon Eye Shadow Single in shades Tigerlily (orange shade), Bangle (gold shade), and Antiqued (brown shade). I started with Bangle all over the lids and heavily in the inner corners, then layered Tigerlily up into the crease, and finally I used Antiqued to smudge along the lash lines. On my lashes I used mark. By Avon Lash Act Build & Define Mascara.
CHEEKS: I used a very light layer of mark. By Avon Cheek Magnet Hook Up Powder Blush in shade One In A Melon.
LIPS: mark. By Avon All Butter Now Lip Treat in shade Bare All.

Copycat Look - mark. By Avon Havana Sol Makeup

My sister let me use her to copy this new makeup look from mark. By Avon! 😀 It was fairly simple to recreate and IRL it wasn't as bold as the model's look in the Magalog picture. 

I used similar items from my arsenal of Avon makeup products to copy this look but I will list below the Havana Sol products used in the Magalog too.

👀Eyes: mark. On The Dot Bold in shades 5 on lids and 8 on lower lash line (this is a discontinued product). Avon True Color SuperExtend Nourishing Mascara in black.
😊Cheeks: mark. Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette in bronze glow (this is also a discontinued product). 
💋Lips: Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick in candy red.

My Makeup: Lucy Hale's Cover Look Edition

ICYMI - mark. Brand Ambassador, Lucy Hale is on the cover of Avon Campaign 10 brochure and mark. Magalog 5! Over the weekend I attempted to copy her amazing makeup from the covers. 

I did make a few modifications to the look. I am terrible at using an eyeliner pencil so I skipped that step and smudged a little of the black shadow from the Eye Connect palette along the lash lines. I also used mark. Touch and Glow on my cheeks instead of the dark shade of Cheek Magnet. (In my previous "My Makeup" post there was a blush incident.) I was most surprised by how much I liked wearing the nude shade of lipstick. My look turned out a little less dramatic and smokey eyed than Lucy's but I still really liked it.
