So this is not an original idea. I saw a similar DIY online when I was looking for an easier way to wash my makeup brushes. You really only need three things and the difference this device makes in brush cleaning is magnificent!
You will need:
-hot glue gun
-glue sticks
-a plastic lid or something similar
I used a plastic lid that came on a package of lunch meat but you can use any flat plastic piece or lid. You'll want something sturdy and thick enough that the hot glue won't melt it.
Once the glue is hot, make dots and squiggly lines going in the same direction on the plastic lid. Let the glue dry completely and pull off any glue strings that you see.
Put whatever soap or cleanser you use for cleaning your brushes on the lid with a little water and swish it back and forth. That's it!!!
