Avon True Color SuperExtend Nourishing Mascara Review

I am already a fan of Avon's SuperExtend mascara line. In the past, I have tried SuperExtend and SuperExtend Winged Out so I was excited to try new SuperExtend Nourishing! The rose gold colored packaging is also super fun and different from other Avon mascaras!  😉

Avon True Color SuperExtend Nourishing Mascara is a great mascara for everyday use. Below I am wearing shade black. It gives my lashes color and a lengthened look. I also really like the wand. The bristles are shorter and the brush is long which makes it easy to apply on the bottom and corner lashes. The top makes a "click" when the bottle is closed too. I have worn it a few times and the formula seems similar to the other SuperExtend mascaras I have tried. The mascara stayed put, did not smudge, and came off easily when I washed my face.  👍👍

Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick Swatches & Review

I love lipsticks! 💄 For me, a great lip color really completes the whole look. Avon just released a new lipstick called Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick. As much as I would have loved to order every shade, my budget only allowed me to get two - candy red and cherry blossom. 

My review: The lipstick glided on smoothly and felt like lip balm. The formula was light and moisturizing like a lip balm and had a glossy finish but wasn't heavy or sticky like a lip gloss. I wore it for a few hours before I wiped it off to eat and the lipstick still felt and looked the same as when I applied it. It is not kiss proof. When it comes to lip colors I like to wear bold reds and wine colors. Pink and orange shades are not for me. I definitely liked the candy red shade more than the cherry blossom shade. I should have tried the berry sangria or ruby kiss instead. Maybe next time. 😉

Avon True Color Pro+ Nail Enamel Review

This campaign is all about Avon's new True Color line. True Color means the color you buy is the color you apply! When I saw new shades and a new formula of Pro+ Nail Enamel nail polishes 💅, there were about 10 shades I wanted to buy and try. I narrowed it down to four shades - night violet, effortless mauve, berry shimmer, and orchid splash. 

2/6/17: I've painted one nail with each shade and will share how they hold up in a week. (Scroll to the bottom for an update.🠟)The shades went on smoothly. I used two coats with night violet, berry shimmer and orchid splash and only one coat with shade effortless mauve.

UPDATE 2/10/17: I've been wearing the nail polishes for five days and they have held up fairly well! The most noticeable wear is on the tips and it is not too bad. I wash my hands often during the day because I have three dogs I take care of and I like to cook. I could probably give it another day or two before I would really need to paint my nails again. My favorite of the shades I choose is berry shimmer and my least fave is night violet. I would also like to note that I did not use a base coat or a top coat. I can’t wait to wear berry shimmer and orchid splash with my spring outfits!!!
