Avon Glimmershadow Liquid Eyeshadow Review

Avon Glimmershadow Liquid Eyeshadow is new and very cool! I'm really into pink beauty right now. It is so fresh for spring and shade rose gold was calling my name! There are 8 shades to pick from and it was hard to choose just one to demo. I like neutral eyeshadows and was also drawn to shades fool's gold and bronze age. 

The applicator is like a lip gloss applicator and holds a lot of liquid shadow. I used one dip for both eyes. The color is highly pigmented and just a few swipes provided a good amount of color on my lids. WOW ✨!!! Shade rose gold is supposed to be shimmer, not glitter, but there is a ton of sparkle in that tube! The day I wore it, the shadow did not loose its sparkle or color for the whole day. I did have some creasing even though I used primer and a translucent powder before I applied the Glimmershadow.  I have oily lids so I expected it to happen. Personally it is not something I could wear everyday because the sparkle is just too much for a daily look. If you are headed to the prom or some fun event where you want to look extra special, this is an amazing choice for your lids!!! You could even dab a little of this shade on your cheeks for some extra sparkle! 😉

Pantone just released their pick for color of 2019 - Living Coral!  I have picked 5 pretty coral Avon beauty products to get you ready for 2019! I think this shade is going to be a big hit this Spring!

My Makeup: Spring...Almost Edition 🌼

Spring was in the air when I did this makeup look and took this picture, then 2 days later we were in a winter wonderland. As Spring comes (and goes), I thought I would try a lighter, fresher look to get in the spirit. A pastel purple eye, glowing cheeks, and no matter the season I love red lips. 

Here is what I wore:
-Avon True Color Flawless Liquid Foundation in porcelain
-Avon True Color Ideal Nude Cream Concealer in fair
-I put a light layer of Avon True Color Eyeshadow Single in champagne all over my eye, from lid to brow.
-I used number 1 and number 4 of Avon True Color Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Quad in romantic mauves. I put a heavy layer of number one on my lids and then added a light layer of number 4 on top to create a pastel purple look.
-Avon True Color SuperExtend Winged Out Mascara
-I used the middle and bottom row of mark. By Avon Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette in coral glow to give my cheeks some color.
-Then I layered Avon True Color Moonlit Highlighting Powder in quartz on my cheeks, bridge of my nose, and temples to add some shimmer and glow.

Get The Look - mark. Make A Mint

Pastels are a must-have every Spring, especially this year with the "colors of the year" being pink and blue. Check out this tutorial with mark.'s limited edition Precious Petals Collections found on page 19 in Magalog 4.

EYES: Dab mark. All Time Eye Hook Up Longwear Shadow shade dew drop across the lids and blend up into the crease and slightly beyond the outer corners of the eyes using a dense shadow brush (try Avon Pro All Over Eyeshadow Brush). Run an eyeliner brush (like Avon Pro Eyeliner Brush) over the wand to pick up pigment and then run the shade along the lower lash lines so it meets the color on the lids at the outer corners of the eyes. Trace mark. No Place To Run Longwear Eyeliner shade jet set through that line, following but slightly lower than the lash line. Brush two coats of mark. Lash Act Build & Define Mascara shade blackest black onto lashes.
LIPS: Apply mark. Total Kiss Up Hook Up Plumping Gloss shade peony.
NAILS: Swipe mark. Nailed It Trend Mini Nail Lacquers shade steel magnolia over the top corners of each nail so the lines meet at the nail tip. Then swipe shade green thumb over the bottom corners of each nail so the lines slightly overlap the top swipes and emet in the center of the nail bed.
